COLLEGE OF JUDEA AND SAMARIA (CJS) BECOMING A UNIVERSITY CENTER
The CJS has grown rapidly during the past decade reaching a population of about 7,000 students studying in 21 departments

A committee appointed by the Council for Higher Education of Judea and Samaria has examined the academic programs of the college and recommended the change of the status of CJS to an interim status of a "University Center" on the way to become a full fledged university within 3-5 years.
In celebration of this change of status, friends of the college plan to publish the following message in the Israeli press:
"We congratulate the College of Judea and Samaria for its upgrading to a University Center, in recognition of its academic achievements in research and teaching."
** If you are a Professor (Associate or Full) in an academic institution and wish to be a signatory to the message congratulating CJS on its becoming a University Center, please send your name and academic affiliation to me.
